A Walk into Exodus

Our journey begins with the end to Joseph and his peers' influence in Egpyt. Somehow, the rapport of the second generation was absent with the royal Egpytian court and the rise of a new king abruptly ended the cordial relationship of Jacob's heritage with the Egyptian.

The Bible mentions a blessing in 1:7 - of fruitful increase, a blessing that can always open doors to a lengthy process of trials into our lives. The population of the Israelites were estimated to stand at 2 million at the opening chapter of Exodus, implying a much smaller one to represent the Egyptian, who felt very threatened.

Here also, the concept of slavery was introduced, with an attempt to control, shape and suppress the people of Isreal. I believe its here where a nation is born - Descendant of Israel called Israelites.
