Quiet Time - The Song of Moses
Ever wonder how these songs in the Bible are actually sung? In fact, if you turn to the book of Psalm, the whole book was sung out by the choir of the old kingdoms. Now, what exactly was used? I mean the instruments! They just crossed the red sea with their lives! The exhaustion is staggering. Imagine walking down to the sea bed and crossing that divide that's believed to be over eleven miles!
Music is inherent to both God and His creations. Its a key component in living beings and it does not requires elaborate instruments to begin, just our voice boxes. And I believe that's how it was done then (with timbrels). In hebrew, Moses sang. And in the aftermath of God's deliverance, all the neighboring countries trembled.
