For a geek like me, I was informed that Acer has just launched an ultra-sleek, super-duper Intel killer - the Ferrari 1000. Being curious, I decide to test-drive it at an Acer-specialty store and my drive confirms that it has to be the most powerful, yet stylish laptop you can lay your eyes on. Sporting a dual-core AMD processor (launched just last week by AMD), 120GB drive, 512MB of Video and 1GB of RAM at 1.6kg , you can now burn a DVD, download a file, surf the net and work on your Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia all without breaking a sweat! Now, that's power!
At a price tag of approximately three grands, it's still a viable buy to the very efficient-minded.
