Rewinding our Life
Remember the days when we were still in college? Yah, the freedom to go the most interesting mall after the short morning lectures or drive to the outskirt to just spend a day in an aviation museum during a summer break...even date someone.
But hey, look at us today. Working in a cubicle 12 hours a day, eat 15-minute lunches and shuffles tons of papers for five to six days a week...for a corporate agenda we sometimes cannot rationalize. "Recharge" pitstops seems far in between. We are then further drained to fulfill our social responsibilities outside those hectic windows to fix a leaking pipe or visit a friend. How many minutes are we left for our own self...I say. Not many. In fact, according to corporate statistics, the longest interval before we get an interuption each day is approximately 11 minutes.
Let's stop everything we are doing now and revisit with me what needs to be done to address this challenge. We need more time for ourselves!
